NFPA 1001 Firefighter 1&2
A comprehensive twelve-week program with 12 weeks including training at our facility in Orangeville, Ontario. The 12 weeks prepare our students for their testing to receive their IFSAC seals. We teach all of the skills and knowledge required, and IFSAC testing. During their stay at our facility, students will live the life of a firefighter. They will eat together, sleep in a dormitory setting, be responsible for station duties, and be on call to respond to mock emergency calls, all while gaining their education in firefighting. We believe very firmly in lots of practical, hands-on experience for our students, so there will be plenty of time to sharpen the skills learned in class. Students must have a grade 12 diploma or better, standard first aid with level C CPR and a completed medical form (supplied) in order to attend our program.
