Objectives:
The purpose of this course is to specify, in terms of performance objectives, the minimum requirements for professional service as a fire instructor. This course shall cover the requirements or the Fire Instructor Level 1

Course Timeline: Length, of Course, is 5-days / 40 hours – 32 hours of instruction and 8 hours of certification testing. Delivered in 4 full-day sessions with a day scheduled for the certification testing process. This course is designed to prepare students to successfully complete certification as Instructor Level 1.

Course Objectives:
Train students to teach from a prepared lesson plan & preparing for presentations
Introduces students to the concept of utilizing training aids to enhance presentations
Learn to assemble course material, preparing training records and report forms.
Review instructional materials, given the materials for a specific topic, target audience and learning environment.
Setup lesson plan, organizing a classroom, laboratory or outdoor learning environment.
Preparing for a lesson plan and changing circumstances in the classroom
Amend to differences in learning styles, abilities, and behaviours.
Operate audiovisual equipment and demonstration devices.
Arrange and grade oral or written and performances tests. Reporting Test results.
Given the answer sheet or skills checklist & provide an evaluation. Feedback to students.
Student presentations will be delivered during the week, all leading to the final graded presentation
