OUR PROGRAMS
16-Week Blended Firefighter Training Program
PROGRAM DETAILS
Our blended in-person and online approach helps recruits grasp concepts faster and complete coursework more efficiently.

OFA has developed an online platform that incorporates a variety of learning tools and aids recruits in successfully completing the theoretical portion of the Firefighter training program.
The online program is broken down into modules and to ensure recruits understand the learning objectives of each module, recruits are validated by the end of module evaluations. Once all individual elements of the module have been successfully completed the learner can proceed to the next program module.
Aided by live demonstration from one of our qualified Instructors, students will learn all the skills necessary to challenge the OFMEM proctored IFSAC written and skill examinations.
OFA enhances the learning environment by maintaining an optimal recruit-to-instructor ratio during all practical evolutions.
Recruits will receive hands-on training at our facility that covers:
- Skill Sessions
- Search and Rescue
- Decontamination Training
- Auto Extrication Training
- Mock Emergency Calls
- Firefighter Survival
- Ladder Climbing
- Using a Hose
- Other Controlled Environment Training
- And Much More
